Input Torque

The Torque M(Nm) that is available to drive a hydraulic pump from a motor or engine can be calculated as follows:-

!) Power N (kW), this can range from 0.25 to 55kW for Hydraproducts power pack range.
2) Pump Speed n, for AC Motors this is commonly 1450 or 2850rpm
